Put Me in the Zoo Slime – DIY Kids Craft
Combine reading and creativity with this easy slime activity inspired by the Dr. Seuss classic, "Put Me in the Zoo." Kids will love making colorful slime while exploring the book’s playful characters.
What’s Needed
- 5 oz bottle of Clear Elmer’s Glue
- 7–8 teaspoons of Elmer’s Magical Liquid
- Small pom poms (yellow, orange, green, blue, purple)
Directions
- Pour clear glue into a bowl. Add 3 teaspoons of the Magical Liquid and mix well.
- Add pom poms and mix well. The mixture will still be sticky at this point.
- Add another 3 teaspoons of Magical Liquid and mix well. The mixture should be getting less sticky. If it’s still sticky, add 1 more teaspoon and start kneading with your hands.
- Continue kneading until the slime is no longer sticky.
- Have fun playing with your slime!
- Store in an airtight baggie for up to 1 week.
